Second Saturday Stanzas
September's featured reader is Sandra Rivers-Gill. Sandra Rivers-Gill is a poet, playwright and teaching artist. Her poetry is influenced by family, community, and injustices, and has appeared in print journals, online and in anthologies while garnering numerous awards, including a nomination for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net. She resides in Toledo, Ohio, with her husband, where she writes and is a caregiver, prayer, scrap art maker, poetry shopper and performer. She is author of, As We Cover Ourselves With Light, her first poetry collection which was a finalist for the Eric Hoffer Book Award.
