1000 Cranes for East Cleveland Public Library
In Japan, the crane is considered a mystical or holy creature that is said to live for a thousand years. Senbazuru, which translates to "one thousand cranes", is a longstanding tradition of folding one thousand origami paper cranes by a person or group of people who will make the wish at the end. January is the perfect time to make a wish for renewal and good fortune, so join us to learn how to fold an origami crane and help us reach our goal of 1000 cranes as we wish for blessings for East Cleveland Public Library.
