Plant A Monarch Butterfly Garden!
Winter sowing is a fantastic way to jump ahead with hardy flowers and herbs which will germinate in their own time as the weather warms up. We'll be planting milkweed in plastic milk jugs, which will act as miniature greenhouses for our plants. Then, in the Spring, we'll transplant them and create a vibrant garden which will support migratory Monarch Butterflies. Join us to get free seeds and learn about winter sowing and planting for native pollinators.
