Beats, Rhymes, and Life

Beats, Rhymes & Life

Dig into beats and spin your story this summer! Step into the world of hip-hop and let your creativity shine. In this five-session workshop with Refresh Collective, students will make their own beats, write catchy hooks, craft original lyrics, and freestyle on the mic. Each session builds on the last, giving students the chance to experiment with music, share their creations with friends, and bring their ideas to life. No experience needed, just bring your imagination and energy. This event series is funded by Cuyahoga County's Family and Children First Council and Starting Point.
